| Your help is critical. Funds will be needed for travel, for arrangements and accommodations, to commission new works from composers, and to invite musicians. CrossSound is working with the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council so that any contribution made to CrossSound in support of new music in Southeast Alaska will be tax deductible. Southeast Alaska's music lovers, composers, and musicians will be grateful for your support. Here is how you can help: GENERAL MONETARY SUPPORT - Contributions of any amount for CrossSound will be deeply appreciated and can be sent to the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council made out to JAHC (Sybil Davis, JAHC Executive Director, 206 North Franklin Street, Juneau, AK 99801). In the memo line please do not forget to indicate that your donation is for CrossSound. Contributions are tax deductible. HOUSING - In order to keep costs down, we would be grateful for any available assistance with housing. At the moment, we are looking at the first week of September as a possible festival date for 2000. If you would be able to host a guest artist during their stay in Southeast Alaska, please e-mail us and indicate how many persons you could accommodate and for how long. AIR TRAVEL - Air travel to Southeast as we well know is not cheap. Anyone willing to donate frequent flyer miles or first class upgrades to help CrossSound bring musicians to Alaska will be greatly appreciated. SPECIFIC MONETARY SUPPORT - CrossSound commissions several new pieces every year. Individuals or companies who would like to have their name (or a name designated by them) associated with a specific commission may request to underwrite a piece. Alternatively, you may wish to support specific players. Contributors may also e-mail with their or their company's name so we can add it to our DONORS LIST on this web site. They can also attach their company's logo which we can then link to their web site or e-mail address. |
